TURBO

The Chassis Shop carries a full line of performance proven turbo system components for a wide variety of high-performance applications. This selection of precision, high output accessories is designed to greatly enhance horsepower and provide dependable, consistent performance. Turbocharging has become the least expensive way to get more horsepower from an engine when compared to boring, stroking, and aftermarket cylinder heads.

HI-VELOCITY 4 BARREL MANIFOLD

This volumetric efficient smooth radius design outflows cast aluminum manifolds by 10%. High velocity eliminates fuel puddling resulting in a cleaner mixture with improved throttle response. Lightweight sheet aluminum construction features quality tig welding and micro-polishing. Restrictive adapters are not required. Optional defrost tube may have warm water or oil circulated through it to reduce condensation in cool or damp running conditions.

BLOW OFF VALVE

The 1-5/8" diameter valve, with high volume oval porting, has proven effective in releasing turbo damaging excessive manifold pressure when throttle plate closes. Valve is CNC machined from lightweight billet aluminum and is complete with a positive seal o-ring.

DIAL-A-BOOST

Alters wastegate setting without mechanical adjustment of wastegate and allows infinite control of boost pressure. May be mounted in cockpit. The lightweight leak-proof construction is not affected by moisture or dirt. Compatible with most wastegates, adjusts 0-60 pounds.

BLOW PROOF GASKETS

Positive sealing internal compression ring works for both turbo and aspirated applications. The 1.550" I.D. gasket can be reused.

TURBO GASKETS

Durable fiber-type gaskets cut to fit both Rayjay and T-04B Airesearch type turbos.

STEEL FLANGES

These heavy Mild Steel exhaust flanges are extra thick to help prevent warping. Each flange is laser cut for the most accurate fit.

TURBO "T" CENTER SECTION

The smooth radius bends flowing into these "T" center sections result in reduced friction, lower intake temperatures, and higher thermal efficiency.

MULTIPLE DISC CLUTCH

This bolt-on package includes special formed steel pressure plate, semi-metallic 3-pad discs, floater plate, release bearing, and labor to modify your flywheel to accept clutch package. Clutch may be installed in dowel pinned, wedge mated, flanged, Type IV, or most adapter type flywheels. Requires late style throw-out bearing shaft with "candlestick" style bearing support.

AUTO ADAPTER PLATE

This aluminum plate adapts Chevy Powerglide Turbo 350 or 400 transmissions to a VW air-cooled engine. Includes transmission dowel pins to ensure accurate alignment. Measures 1/4" thick, 18-1/2" tall, and 20" wide.
