Stiletto Front Spindles
Stiletto Ultra Spindles are CNC machined and precision honed from a heat-treated American produced Chromoly (4130) forging. The forging process aligns the steel grain structure within the shape, resulting in maximum strength - tougher than a billet produced counterpart. These spindles are the preferred choice for Dragsters, Funny cars and
Altereds.
To further ensure a superior finished product, each spindle is individually hardness tested, and 100% non-destructive Magnaflux inspected; even the spindle nut is forged and precision machined.
The 8620 king pins are rifle drilled to remove unnecessary material, hardened for maximum wear resistance and precision center-less ground. The structured, sintered alloy, PTFE impregnated bushings and thrust washers, provide smooth steering and superior durability. These exceptional low friction materials will perform dry, lube is only needed during initial assembly to curtail the possibility of corrosion.
High tensile ARP 12 point fasteners are standard, providing
ultimate strength in securing the Chromoly steering arms and domed
aluminum cap. Optional tow caps are also available separately.
Engineered and race track proven for many years, Stiletto Steering components are the best value in racing and precision crafted in the USA.
The spindle diameter is
dimensionally the same as the Early English Ford Anglia. Each set includes (2) spindles, (2) bosses, (2) 5" arms, (2) king pins, (2) caps and hardware.
Note: All spindles listed accept a 0.984 in. Inside Diameter Inner Bearing and a 0.625 in Inside Diameter Outer Bearing.
Steering arm length is measured from the center of the king pin to center of bolt hole and the king pin angle is 8 degrees.
