This kit uses one Forged Dynalite caliper per wheel and is designed for cars with four wheel brakes. For dragsters or other cars that rely on rear brakes only, a dual caliper kit is recommended. All kits are for .500" wheel studs, unless otherwise noted, and feature three 5-bolt patterns 4 1/2", 4 3/4", and 5" bolt circle.
Dual Dynalite Rear Kit uses two calipers per wheel to provide the extra braking power needed for fast dragsters and other cars that rely mainly on rear brakes for stopping power. If the current single caliper system is plagued with excessive component wear from heat or marginal stopping power, a dual caliper system is the best choice. Dual caliper rear systems will provide confident braking and extended component life from reduced stress and lower operating temperatures at the calipers, brake pads, rotors, and hats. Dual Dynalite systems use the same quality components as the single Dynalite kits and provide unmatched performance with the lowest possible rotating and unsprung weight. INSTALLATION NOTE: Dual caliper kits require more master cylinder volume than sincle caliper kits to work properly.
